Haptics setting not working

I've just noticed in the "Sound and Vibe" menu there is a setting for "Haptics".

I don't remember it being there before - maybe it was introduced in recent firmware. I'm currently on Beta 18.21.

Anyway, it doesn't seem to do anything. I assumed it would probably make the watch vibrate when the touch screen is touched. Can someone confirm this is the expected/intended behaviour?

And could someone check if this setting exists in 17.xx firmware and see if it works?

I take it back. This does seem to work but only on the screens like entering the Garmin Pay code and the circular controls. This is where it's most useful so probably intentional. The haptic feedback is quite weak, but at least it works.

There is a lot of confusion about features and fixes available around here, and a lot of it because beta users post in the regular forums (and sometimes regular users in the beta forums).

Please keep that separated.

The reason for posting here was that I didn't know whether I was looking at a new feature/bug or a pre-existing one. And I can't roll back to production F/W to check.

My specific question above "And could someone check if this setting exists in 17.xx firmware and see if it works? " was asking people on current F/W to determine this - and there's more people on current F/W round here than there is on the Beta forum!

However I'm happy to apologize if I've broken protocol!
