[FW 17.26] battery drain after using GC

Hello,
I saw that this issue was already logged with previous versions of the FW.
Yesterday I experienced the same issue.
I changed the parameters of a screen activity in GC before sleeping, the battery was 92%.
When I woke up (8 hours later) the battery was 72%.
I think the prolem with the synchronization between GC and the watch is still there (if it was the root cause).
Ususally the battery drops by 2%.
Anyone in my situation?

  • Yes!, I noticed something similar last night. I'm on beta F/W 18.20

I went from around 70% to 45% in 4 or 5 hours. The battery drain was as if I were doing a GPS activity but actually, I was sleeping (or trying to)

A few things that might be significant:

    1) Just before I went to bed I changed the GPS setting (on the watch) to all systems, multiband. I was on the default (auto) setting before. But didn't start any activity or anything.

    2) A short time before bedtime I interacted with Garmin Connect app as I wanted to see details of a recent workout. I didn't try changing any watch settings or anything.

    3) I woke up in the early hours of the night and had a quick look through glances etc. This was the time I noticed the high batter drain. It also seems to be the time the high battery drain stopped and went back to normal. So perhaps interacting with the watch stopped whatever was going on.

I captured a screen shot from battery graph IQ app which shows this unexpected battery drain nicely. But I'm struggling to find the way to insert it into this message. Using Insert->Image/Video File, I get a pop-up asking for a URL. Then I get "The file or URL is not allowed to be inserted"  Could someone give me instructions?
