Ski App Not Working Properly

The Ski App does not work properly. The App should only include the descent for each run, instead it often includes ascent while on the ski lift (but not always). Very disappointing because it worked last year.

The problem is that Garmin Connect is correct but that does not agree with the watch which agrees with Strava. Today,s ski activity: garmin connect total ski elevation was 8,566 ft, the watch and strava report total elevation as 15,154 ft.
