after about 2 years the ABC widget is still not completely correct. The arrow indicating whether atmospheric pressure increases, decreases or remains the same has never changed once. Pretty incredible for an altimeter/barometer watch.

Well, actually, I'm using it mostly for outdoor activities :). Fr 955 is essentially Fenix 7 in plastic body. If you need/want pressure trend arrow, I recommend to download "barometer" app from Connect…
Thanks for your help and suggestion.
The fact remains that the watch, after almost 2 years since it was presented, does not work correctly (I mean the barometric trend arrow)
Yes good question - I'd bet it's a bug. I noticed the other day that if I cleared the settings and restarted the watch the Barometer Arrow showed down for the first few hours even though the pressure was…
I hadn't noticed it much before. It just shows → all the time.
The last 48 hours the pressure here has been gradually increasing from 980 to 1004 hPa (mBar).
Thanks for your note. After 8 months the problem still hasn't been resolved. It's true that not everyone buys fr955 for outdoors... but in short, the barometric tendency in a watch like this seems to me to be of some importance. Come on Garmin, you can do it!
Well, actually, I'm using it mostly for outdoor activities :). Fr 955 is essentially Fenix 7 in plastic body. If you need/want pressure trend arrow, I recommend to download "barometer" app from Connect IQ. Once you install this app, you can even display it directly on your watch screen as a data field.

I have a Garmin Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar Pro and the barometer arrow never shows a decrease in pressure even if storm alerts are coming through the watch
Thanks for your contribution. But I wonder how it is possible that this thing doesn't work in a watch designed for outdoor use? Garmin ???
Yes good question - I'd bet it's a bug. I noticed the other day that if I cleared the settings and restarted the watch the Barometer Arrow showed down for the first few hours even though the pressure was rising (other people have also noted this) so it shows the down arrow is possible.
Problem is it doesn't work at any other time.
Again today the pressure is falling and a storm alert is present but no down arrow...
Garmin do you watch these threads or are we speaking to ourselves?
Thanks for your nice contribution. Yes, I don't think all the posts we write on the forum are taken seriously into consideration. I'm staying with Garmin because Suunto doesn't have NFC for electronic payments which I now find very convenient....otherwise for outdoor use I would know what to choose.
same here. I gave up on the ABC widget and use the separated altimeter/barometer/compass glance now.
And im wondering can someone test it with a vaccum chamber? To see if its not sensitive or just stuck at horizontal?
