I have been using the Garmin 955 for close to 1.5 years now- and never had any issues with the watch- until now.
I live in India- and Garmin has- for some reason- not released Topo active for India. The workaround to get India Maps is to contact Garmin India support- who then share a downloadable file with India map data.
I had been using these sideloaded maps shared by Garmin India until now- but for the last couple of days, I have not been able to see the maps on my Garmin screen. When I go the map screen on my watch (In activity/ Weather/ Navigate via Maps etc), I get the current location marker with a blank screen around it. Even when I load a past activity- the course is marked- but the map data is missing- but when I load an activity done in a region with Topo active maps- the data shows.
I tried restarting the watch and also reloaded the map data- but the problem persists.
Any solutions?
