Wrong event added to calendar, cannot delete on watch

Can you please make sure that your Connect app is up to date? If it is, can you let me know if following the steps from Remove and Add a Device From the Garmin Connect App makes a difference?

I'm hoping to get some help with a persistent event showing on my Forerunner 955 (India). I've deleted a non-primary running event from the Garmin Connect app, but it won't disappear from my watch.

Here's what I've tried so far:

• I'm using the latest version of the Garmin Connect app.
• My watch is fully updated to software version 18.23.
• I've restarted the watch.
• I've tried connecting the watch via Garmin Express, but the event remains.

The deleted event has been gone from the app for weeks now, but it's still stuck on my watch. Have another trail running event added as primary event, not sure if that's is something to do with this issue.

This is a common problem and is reported many times , I have logged with support also.

Only way is to do a full reset - with all its complications , or wait until the date passes.

I'm never sure what the root cause is as some of the seem to delete ok, others not.
