Mine has been working sporadically for weeks, rendering my Garmin useless. Sometimes it works for a few minutes and then stops working. I have factory reset it, connected to Garmin Express, and the problem not only continues but is getting worse.
If I go into settings I can see the indication "sensor hub 0.0.1" every time my watch stops measuring my heart rate, steps, temperature...
I bought my Garmin in October, everything worked perfectly until the arrival of update 17.24 and then 26: with each update, it got worse.
I have had to use my Suunto Ambit 3 Peak again, which, although old, still works as well as the day I bought it.
