Touch screen gets sluggish/unresponsive after 17.26 update

I noticed that after the most recent firmware update to 17.26, my touchscreen gets sometimes sluggish / unresponsive. So far I observed it probably happens after an activity has been completed. Restarting the watch seems to fix the issue. I remember there was a problem with touch about a year ago, looks like the recent update brought back some older flaws...

  • I accidentally discovered that touch is much more responsive with Settings - Display - Large fonts On. Seems to work as I would expect. Well enough that I'm not going to return the 955. No downside that I'm aware of. The same number of lines are displayed in the menus, apps list and glances with no crowding.

  • Similar situation. The touch screen stops working normally at some intervals (different periods of time). Sometimes in a day, sometimes in 5 days. I can’t connect this with any specific manipulations with the watch. This was not observed on firmware 15.19. Appeared on firmware 16.17 and continues on firmware 17.26. If you go to the menu, turn the touch screen off and on, it starts working normally again. I hope this is a software problem and will be fixed in future firmware versions.

  • Same here, happened today.

First it became sluggish then stopped responding. After a reboot it worked again, then it got stuck after few hours.

    Version 17.26

  • It's a problem that has always existed. try putting all the views in folders, you can associate the deactivation and activation of the touch screen with a quick key, just deactivate and activate the touch screen to return to normal.
