[Issue - 17.26] When touch is disabled for an activity, map no longer responds to touch during pan/zoom as it did before

Basically a copy of this topic in the beta forums:

https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/forerunner-955-series/public-beta-bug-reports/i/public-beta-version-17-xx/17-18---when-touch-is-disabled-for-an-activity-map-no-longer-responds-to-touch-during-pan-zoom-as-it-did-before

But since this is now a final and no beta anymore AND to bring it back to attention if needed I thought I'd also post it here...

Observed Behavior

On the forerunner 955, if you entered pan/zoom mode on the map data page, touch would work regardless of whether touch was disabled for the activity (or via the controls menu).

This no longer works as it did before. I suspect it has something to do with adopting shared code for other models such Epix (gen 2) and possibly Fenix 7, which have the ability to set the activity touch mode to "Map Only" (in addition to "On" and "Off"). However, 955 does not have the "Map Only" touch option.

Expected Behavior

- The map page responds to touch in pan/zoom mode regardless of the system/activity touch setting, as before

OR

-  Activity touch settings include the "Map Only" option
