Forerunner 955 Series: When using Ski Activity Profile, activity does not pause when in lift line or on ski lift

Hi - Using my 955 while skiing for the first time I found it includes lift distance and elevation in activity statistics. It also appears to include time in the lift line as part of ski runs. There also appear to be some odd auto laps that Garmin ignores but Strava counts. For example - Garmin activity shows 9 runs, Strava showed 34. Strava also gave me a PR for the lift ride. I found this same issue for 955 last winter that was indicated solved with a software update but I am still experiencing what appears to be same issue.

it's a bug, and it's been there for a minimum 1 year because I have my strava record of winter ski season 2021 2022 with all my activities with exaggerated mileage and number of runs. I changed my watch this year, and I'm now on FR 965 but same issue. There's a huge thread in the 965 community in this regard.

Same here, my 935 worked flawlessly for years. My 955 hasn't for over a year now. In November of this year, for one day the 955 behaved as intended but as of December it's doing something worse. It's now over counting runs. ️

I have the same problem with my 955, plus the number of runs shows double the real number

Same issue with FR 955, watch just can't differentiate between lift and skiing periods. it is not stopping, not starting correctly in auto mode. Would be nice to have a solution.
