I can see that this is somewhat of a persistent problem - Is there a fix for it?
Per my pictures below, I have auto-detection, but my watch believes it is a manual entry, and on Gramin Connect, nothing happens.
Thanks!

Hurray - finally! An update on all parameters :-) What triggered it ?- I have no clue, but the graph from GC speaks for itself!
Thanks for all the comments and good suggestions
It did not make any difference to me; It was a one-off. You get one update - that's it.
Before it broke - you could follow and see your updates, like in the picture below - the empty BPM field seems…
Went out for a run today: 12 km total with 2x3k at slightly above threshold and got this when saving the run:
Can confirm that it also showed up in Connect.
Exactly:

"For watches, you can detect a lactate threshold either through a guided test, or through auto detection. Both will require the following:
- A chest strap heart rate monitor.
- An established VO2 max estimate must be set.
- An established GPS lock."
Thx will try again in few days as sometime ago I did use a chest band but didn’t update the treshold
Unfortunately, I am back in the same situation - no new updates on Lactate Threshold in Garmin Connect. I use an HRM-pro on all runs - and not a single heart rate reading has been pushed to Garmin Connect
It's broken! I have changed the title back to bug.
Garmin-Sierra, could you look into this? Thanks
Same here,
I tried looking into all the LT settings but there are so many and there is so little information to what everything does and cancels out that im not sure what settings I need to have to get this working.
It's set to auto-detect by default - so there is no setting up
User Profile-> Heart Rate & Power Zones -> Zones
I presume the issue is that eventough is set as automatic they ask for Max HR and LTH rate so the software I don’t know if update to automatic if there are some manual entry data
there is no way to delete manual HR and LTH rate.
someone wrote they did solve by reducing manual entry so the automatic detection correct them at the end of run but this is like triggering the software bug
