17.24 not yet offered to all?

Is v17.24 released to all now? The announcement headline say so, but the text states 20% ?

My GFs 955 has not been offered the update yet, not by searching for updates from the watch or by connecting to Garmin Express.

I've checked the PC harddrive where updates use to be stored from Garmin Express but nothing under there, and on the watch there are nothing new in Garmin directory or under Remote SW or NewFiles.

What would be the next step to get it to update?

Edit: And yeah, we had it in the beta program but left that after installing 17.22 if that could have anything to do with it (so it's not an APAC device)?

I'm still on the beta programme, and haven't been offered anything newer then 17.22 either.

I had a support issue and I believe they pulled the release due to some bug (965 anyway) so may be the same here

For me the update was offered via Garmin Express (I disabled auto-update on watch) but I held off seeing the issues reported.

Now the update is no longer available in Garmin Express. I believe the update was pulled for some reason.

Earlier I vented my frustration with this watch in a thread and got down voted. Maybe a bit aggressive and off-topic but still, one year into this watch (for me at least) and nothing works as promised. What more to expect?

Garmin-Sierra, this "looking further" should have happened trough the public beta channel/releases. I'm questioning the purpose of a public release just 6 calendar days after a beta release with quite a number of open issues. Are you filling your quota here? Year end reviews? Bonuses?

The change log for 17.22 is quite different that 17.24. Care to explain why? The public release is just a subset of 17.22. What was then the purpose of 17.22? Just to keep some of your paying customers busy with the hope of a working device?

The more time I spend with this watch the more disappointed I get. At this point I am convinced I did a bad choice on this one but it's too late now.

All the "fixed" bugs in 17.22 were removed from the release notes for 17.24. There are actually additional features in 17.24 compared to 17.22.

Garmin is now on a quarterly release cycle, they will do a public release quarterly even with known bugs.

Garmin-Sierra is just a messenger, please do not shoot her.

Yeah, today it found and installed v17.26 so all good now. But I assume (and hope) more updates will follow in the next weeks, regarding all major issues discussed here on the forum...
