Unable to install 17.24

The watch get stuck in restarting and I need to hard reset some sensors seem to have updated but the main version is still 16.17

Long time of watch rebooting during firmware update is such a "feature" of this update 17.24
Time up to 10 minutes and the watch will update successfully.
Please be patient.

I manually checked for update and it started, it took just under 10 mins to update.

Finally had to perform a Master reset.

Was the same, but it can be fixed by connecting charging cable or via usb to PC.

I took me about 5 minutes via wifi.

as other have noted, my 17.24 installed very quickly my older betas, however (at least the first of version 17.XX) took a long time to install so much that i thought i had bricked my watch. thankfully, i read on the beta forum that this was a possibility so i patiently waited and it turned out fine.

It took about 8 minutes since I pressed "install" to finished. 7 of these with the screen only displaying "Restarting...", after this in 1 minute it restarted and installed the new FW. Works fine for me.

mine got stuck on "Restarting..." for like 10 minutes too - hard powered it off, turned it back on, install wouldn't run anymore but watch booted. Plugged into Garmin Express and the computer which said "no updates" but when I unplugged it, it updated like it should have the first time.
