Maps just show as 'Queued'

Trying to download the maps for my area. The maps just show as 'queued' and never download. I've made sure it's plugged into a power source, connected to wi-fi, I've tried rebooting, cancelling the maps and selecting them again, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

yep, I believe it's a bug that has existed for some time now. I find the only way of getting up to date maps onto the 955 is by plugging it into a computer and using Garmin Express. The watch will still say there's an update available though, even after this. I think that's incorrect and a bug

even it is working then it is crazy slow, so it is just easier to plug it to a computer.

Anyway, I have no clue why an app is needed and not a web app (then it could work under linux, chromeos and on any android phone), as it is only copying files to an usb drive.
