Strength repetitions not remembering weight set on watch from 1st rep FW 16.17 still no update :(

See for example this post forums.garmin.com/.../strength-repetitions-not-remembering-weight-set-on-watch-from-1st-rep - discussion has been locked, but it still doesn't work and it is annoying. Garmin please fix it. I DO use my forerunner even when lifting weights surprisingly ;)

I'm sorry to read about your frustration. This should have been fixed in a previous sw version. I tested this out on my FR 955 running beta version 17.18 and did not experience this issue…

I'm on beta 17.18 (and one of the bug reporters) and the bug still exists.

I'm sorry to read about your frustration. This should have been fixed in a previous sw version. I tested this out on my FR 955 running beta version 17.18 and did not experience this issue. My weight remained the same after each set. Are you open to enrolling in beta to have this fixed? If so, please see Public Beta Version 17.18 Announcement.

Feel free to wait until our live software version is available as well, I am just not sure when it will be released at this time.

Thank you very much. My frustration is much better now . No, really, I appreciate your feedback a lot. I like to track my gym workouts. I will most likely wait for final SW version. I was not happy with previous beta versions. I did not have a time to report bugs, so I am not good beta tester .

Can you ensure that your Connect app is up to date and let me know if you are still experiencing this?

I joined the beta program just to see if this was fixed. It still DOES NOT work. I'm on FW 17.21. Just got done with my typical workout. Weight always resets to zero. I work out a lot with this watch and it's annoying having to constantly enter in the same weight that I just barely entered in. This seems like an easy fix. Come on, Garmin!

Can you tell me if you have an Android or iPhone, and what your Connect app version is running? Is this happening for 'free' strength workouts, structured workouts, or both?

Thanks for the quick response. I'm on android and running 4.73.3. This is happening for the pre-created workout called "Maximize Your Upper Body". I'm not sure what category that workout would fall under.

Latest Connect app on Android and this is still occurring. I am using a custom structured workout with no weight set in the workout itself as seen in the screenshot attached.
