I cannot use side buttons to move/swipe the screens while the watch is locked

I cannot use side buttons to move/swipe the screens while the Garmin F955 is locked. Every time I want to move to another data screen, I have to unlock the watch and this is so annoying.

I couldn't find the option on the settings and this is the only thing I'm really missing from the Suunto Ambit3 Peak. With the Suunto it was possible to still use side buttons to move through the different screens while the watch was locked.

Am I missing something or this option is not available?

Try to deactivate just the touch screen instead to lock all device. It will work as you desire.

Thanks for the answer. I forgot to mention this was during an activity (I've just published a new post adding this to the text). I always have the touch screen deactivated during activities. I'm not 100% sure, but I think this doesn't solves the problem.
