Garmin Connect constantly fails to sync runs and the only fix is to delete the device and re-attach it. I normally get two or three runs and then it fails and I have to go through the whole deletion process etc. Is there a fix?

Don't recognize this (S23 ultra with 955 solar). It (the 955) isn''t by any chance also connected to another device?
I have a 'running phone' (old android phone) which I use for long runs and when I need to leave a phone behind and if it's connected to that one it won't sync with the 23u (then again, it does sync in general so guess that's not the issue).
No permissions that need to be set differently for the app?
Thanks - good thought. But no, I only have one phone. I very rarely take it when I run, but it doesn't seem to make any difference whether I do or not.
Does anyone know of any Samsung settings, or other apps, that might interfere with the sync?

It may also help to free up space on your device by deleting old activities (Removing Activity Files to Free Up Space on a Garmin Device).

Thanks. I never get a Sync Failed message, it just doesn't display my most recent activity. Does that tell us something?
Ah I see. I would still say to remove old activities from your Garmin Folder to free up space on your device, as well as sync with Garmin Express once. Make sure your Connect app is up to date, and power cycle your watch and phone once every two weeks or so. I'd also be curious to know if your wellness data has issues syncing as well.
