just want to share my experience with 955 solar so far.
Since last June, I had very erratic HR readings, i.e. it stuck every now and then in a fixed HR value, green LED lights off. I suppoed it was a problem of tan skin or bad placing, but I discovered it was not the case. The problem became worse and worse, and after the last SW update It completely stopped reading HR.
I did every possible tweak and reset, as Garmin Support directly suggested to me. After the full reset, the green lights won't turn on at all. Very annoying because I like this unit, but without HR it's quite useless to me.
Now I'm sending it back to the assistance service.
Anyone having the same problems?
One thing I noticed, the last SW update (16.17) was pushed to my unit 4 (four) times in the last few days... is it a normal procedure?
