16.17 955 solar weather glance waiting for data

When I click on the weather glance I get the "Waiting for data" screen with the red band and exclamation mark across the top.

If I press the back button the weather appears  be displayed and everything seems fine for a few moments and then the red band with the exclamation mark appears across the top of the weather widget screen.  If I scroll up or down the red band disappears.

All other widgets appear to working fine.

Anyone else seeing this?

  • I normally did not use the weather information on the watch as I used other sources by email or on the computer. Reading this thread I decided to try it and the same thing happened to me.
    Location access is ON, I set a fixed location on the Connect App but no information is displayed on the glance, only "Waiting for Data". The map on the glance it displays correctly the fixed location that I choosed with a temperature layer overlay, etc, but other screens of the glance won't display data.

    UPDATE: after few restart of the FR955S doing some test and installing one app via Connect IQ for other use, the Weather info started to display but partially: actual condition and for the next 2 hours are displayed, but won't display any infos on Daily Forecast, also won't display info about Air Quality, Dew Point, UV index but yes about Humidity. Weird.

  • UPDATE 2: A few hours later and without having made any changes, I suddenly consulted Glance and all the information is complete and correct. I can't understand what happened, because I didn't make any changes, but it worked. Maybe I needed more time? to update all the information, I don't know.
    Could be a problem of the Weather Data provider? Because I double checked and the only missing data is Air Quality.

  • Seems to be an issue with GCM 4.73.
