Watchface shows notification detail after 16.17

I just updated to 16.17 and now my watchface shows details of the notification.

Before it just showed a amount of notification.

I can't get it to show just the number again.

Any tips?

Have you tried enabling privacy in smart notification settings. If that still shows content, I consider it an error that you should report. I could also imagine that if there is more than one unread notification it would switch to number.

I noticed this as well on my FR255 after 16.17 update. Weird thing is, the behavior is different for different data fields on the watch face. I think on your watch face, if you move the notifications to the bottom spot, it will show number of notifications instead of text
