How to adjust the flashlight level?

Not sure this is part of 16.17 but I noticed we can now activate the "flashlight" by double clicking on the light button. There are 3 pages (continuous white, flashing white and red). I did not find any way to retain a default mode nor to adjust the brightness level but it is pretty cool. This could be related to the above item.

Thanks for pointing this out , I see it works the same ( two pushes on light to activate) on my 965 (also 16.17) . I also see if I increase the level to 3 and close out and reopen it opens at 3.

How do you scroll to the other pages? Flashing / red?

For Brightness level use the up / down buttons or the plus / minus on the touch screen

I see if one changes the brightness to lowest level and continues to press "lower" then one gets the red.

That's great and similar to Fenix/Epix series now. It's UP and DOWN normally to adjust.

Using software version 16.17 on my FR955, for me the Up and Down buttons just scroll through the 3 different flashlight modes: white constant, white flashing, and red. It doesn't change the brightness levels. Am I missing something? Is there any other way to adjust the brightness level of the flashlight?

Brightness adjustment is for AMOLED displays or Outdoor watches with dedicated LED side flashlight. No effect on MIP (older) type.

Thanks pdurys. But with a previous firmware it was possible, also on the FR955, to adjust the brightness of the flashlight function. It would be a pitty if that feature is now removed with the current firmware.

Are you sure you not mix Flashlight with Backlight?

Frankly saying I haven't seen such option on FR955 to adjust flashlight intensity.

Hi, that might have been the case indeed. I think I changed the backlight brightness, which also changed the flashlight brightness together. Thanks :).
