Napping tracked soon?

I came across this

https://www.androidcentral.com/wearables/garmin

would it be useful?

  • If it comes at all it'll probably be in the Q4 firmware update (17.xx?).

  • I saw the same thing — I really hope so, this would make me a firm Garmin believer.

  • I hope it will be added. I would hazard a guess it will, as it's just an evolutionary step in the sleep analysis. Often it seems that Garmin test these updates in other lines like the Venu before they make their way to the Forerunners and Fenix

I occasionally take a nap and since a week or two seems it Garmin 955 started increasing body battery during that time. Not much but noticeable. Would be even better to solve sleep problems and HR inaccuracies.

  • For a few months now I have noticed that body battery increases during daily rest/naps.

It seens natural that they included daily naps tracking in the next beta cycle. It doesn't look something dependant of the new V5 sensor. If it is, it still can be included in the Fenix/Epix Pro versions.
