Forerunner 955 & HRM Pro viewing Lactic Threshold Results

I get automatic regular LT results on my 955 after running suitable runs, the 955 asks me if i want to accept the results which show BPM/Pace and power, but how do i view all 3 results? Connect shows pace & BPM under LT but no power. Surely theres a way of retrieving the full set of stats as i am normally too knackered post run to remember it!!! I asked Garmin and they pointed to me to a number of places such a Training Status that doesnt even have LT on it!!!

  • At least for LT detected by my 965, I can view it in Garmin Connect Mobile, something like "training statistics from the hamburger menu up left, then "running anaerobic threshold" and from that "present", those are approximate labels since I have my phone and Garmin Connect set to Finnish. I can see the threshold power also in Garmin Connect Web, "reports", then "running", "anaerobic threshold", "latest".

I'm not sure if the power is viewable on the watch, I haven't looked.

  • Thats interesting as neither are available for me... maybe differences between 955 & 965?

  • On your 955, you can see the current LTHR and HR by looking at the VO2/race predictor glance. Select that, you'll see VO2, scroll down and you should see LTHR w/HR, but no power. The web is the same, no power. However, if you use the phone app, you can see LTHR pace, HR, power, and W/kg.  More > Performance Stats > Running Lactate Threshold > Current

  • hi thanks for this, on my mobile app i dont have "Running Lactic Threshold" only Lactic Threshold which doesnt have the power stats :-(

  • Are you on Android? I'm on iOS 16.6 w/ Garmin Connect v4.70. Maybe update your Connect app if there is an update available.

  • Yes on Android and checked my partners i-phone and as you say has the Running Lactic Threshold option, i'm up to date with Connect and also on v4.70.... strange!!!! Garmin are you watching????

  • I think you should contact Garmin support and ask for help there (and potentially create a bug report). This is an end-user forum and Garmin doesn't promise to check every discussion thread, so getting help by just reporting here is not guaranteed.

  • Not necessarily a bug. No guarantee of feature parity across platforms (iOS vs Android). Happens all the time w/other apps as well. But def annoying when you can see it on your partner or buddies phone.
