The altimeter on my Forerunner 955 is malfunctioning. The altitude is reported as extreme negative values. I've seen it fluctuate from -5000 ft to -30000 ft. See images below. During the calibration step, it reports an altitude that is around what I would expect for my area (for example, 270ft in the screenshot below). This malfunctioning has also lead to extreme jumps in running power during recorded runs, but I suspect this is just a symptom of the altimeter malfunctioning. This started happening about 1 week ago.
I have tried soaking the watch. I have tried restarting it as well.
The watch is running SW Version 15.19.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
