Hi Guys :-)
So I have a local parkrun 5k measured.
The first time i ran it, my watch said 4.9k and the second time it said 5.5 k. Isn't that too much of a difference if one should be able to use data
Before that i have a route which is measured 5.66 km - earlier my fr955 registered it as that distance as well. The last two runs, it measured as ca. 6.4K and 7.4K. This makes an insane difference for running data. I can't use anything when it works like this :-/
Yesterday I went to the parkrun place on bike and measured a circle (little more than half the 5k) 2.6k. Tested it with
auto + 5 sek updates = 2.63K
All sys + 5 sek updates = 2.64K
All + multi + 5 sek upd = 2.64K
Was happy, went home and checked with strava which was the same. Super happy and ready for my run this morning from home and to the parkrun place and back. Around 8.5K. I ran and my watch said 9.45K - tested it with strava which said 8.7K which seems correct.
So it has almost +1 and +2K on a 5.66k run and almst +1k on a 8.7k run.....and both + and - on the park run, but a + on 10% of the distance.
So has thee been an error in a software update? HAve others experienced the same? I'm super confused by this as I thought it was way more precise. I mean all data is useless as is :-/
Any ideas, suggestions etc.?
