Map jumps back to watchface arter X seconds

when i go for hike and uses the map function on my FR955, it shows the map for I would guess 120 sec, hereafter it jumps back to my watch face. Is there a way to keep it showing the map screen?

Are you using the Map activity or viewing the map screen within a Hike activity?

I've tried using the Map activity on the current beta (16.09). I completely forgot about it and it was still showing the map about an hour later.

Sorry, I posted a now-deleted comment which incorrectly said that you need to press START to start the activity. That's clearly not right since Map isn't a timed activity like Walk or Run. So if it's timing out, it's probably a bug, and maybe it was fixed in the beta. My bad.

No but tbh I'm on 945 LTE . I was just guessing and I totally forgot that Map isn't like the other activities bc I never use it. Sorry for the noise haha
