Swimming: it counts more pools than real

Done 94 pools, it counted 100.

It adds a pool every time I check the HR at the end of a pool: I come to the end of the pool, I stop swimming for max 1 or 2 second, just the time to give a fast look to HR and pool count, sometimes I don't even put down feet to the floor!

Never had the problem of watch stopping counting pools or counting less polls, if it fails it counts more pools

  • I'm noting that the errors occurs at round lenghts numbers: 10, 20, 30, 40....and so on

  • Another one today, another one at a "round number" of lenghts. It can't be a coincidence

    any news?

  • Perhaps you somehow disturb a stroke by touching the lane line or tapping a swimmer's hand coming toward you? This could depend on which hand you have the watch on. The slightest variation in the acceleration profile will trigger a new length. My watch is 99.99% accurate unless the above occurs, or I have to slow down because of a slow swimmer or accelerate to pass such a swimmer. Finally, make sure to reboot your watch every couple of weeks (I do so after charging).

  • No swimmers, I swim alone and no touches on the lane line. The problem is that until FW 15.19 it was perfect, no lenghts more or less than real and I didn't change my style or type of trainings in last months (I do 80-100 freestyle lentghts everytime without stopping). Since FW15.19 it counts more lenghts, never less, and everytime it adds one at a round number of lenghts (10, 20, 30...)

  • Have the same issue in a 50m pool all of a sudden. 25m seems to be fine. Have the watch since last year and never had issues like this :-

  • I swim in a 25m pool
