My run today was sprint intervals. Unfortunately, I downloaded the new update before the run.
1. There's no clear start or stop to 8ntervsls due to poor design choices.
2. The beeps are hard to hear when running springs with music and breathing heavy. The single, clear, loud beep counting down from 3 was perfect - for both the start and stop.
3. The pretty picture on the watchface showing the countdown is not useful when trying to run sprints, or quite frankly for any run. The best part of the Garmin forerunner is you could focus on the run.
4. My 10s sprint was filled with a voice telling me I finished my recovery. This is useless information at this point and distracting to the run.
5. My workout was a sprint at a target pace of 5:30. I was given a metric of meters run to gauge my effort. This is a useless metric. I was unable to gauge my effort until the workout was done and I reviewed it on my phone.
6. There are too many types of notification beeps. And none of them clear. It's like the design engineer let their *** run wild with beep choices.
Does Garmin actually read any of this?
Is there anyway to roll back the update?
