multi-day tracking, split

I have a 240 mi backpacking coming, I need 955 to record a single track (in Navigate route) and show split for each day...is it possible w/o using expedition mode (which is not accurate...need to be very accurate) ?

Also, notice 955 over shooting some turns/corners...why ??

Def need this function....by long press one of the buttons to start a new day/split

  • Not sure I completely understand. But you can manually lap anytime you want. Turn off auto lap. At the end of the day manually hit lap. Then hit stop and select Resume Later. Charge it overnight or whatever. When you start up the next day, start the same type of activity and you should be prompted to resume the activity vs starting a new one.

FYI.. You can test all this out while sitting in your living room in less than a minute.

  • Be aware that if you just hit stop, I think the watch eventually will auto-save and your activity will be splitted. Use Resume Later.

If watch is in Resume Later, I've read that people don't get any sleep data. Asume thats still the case.

  • Hike/Navigate a long gps route….ex. 240 miles

  • Dont think work, also don’t care sleep data…actually I power off at night when doing long hike (can resume in AM). The split should tell you total and each day split….ex. 25/30/28 miles, same for elevation gains
