Exact pace

I use the exact pace connectIQ to get a view on my unrounded pace in realtime.

Is there anyway to achieve this same functionality using native data fields?

yes it is a standard datafield for running. three-in-one with distance/time/pace. Or create your own datafield with pace

On my 955 the standard pace data field shows in only 5 second increments and appears to be averaged too. (Possibly 5-10 seconds.) I do not know any way to get the exact pace with out using an app.

If we are talking about "exact" pace, then instant GPS pace without any filtering is definitely NOT it, because of GPS noise and errors.
