Not showing exact step count- 10k etc

Since the update my watch face has stopped showing my step count over 10,000. It now just says 10k. It is reflected in the connect app but how do I show the exact number on my watch again?

  • That was also discussed, and asked to revert it, earlier on the beta side of the forum. Garmin changed the way how the number of steps over 10 000 is shown on the watch(face) after v14.20.

  • The effect of showing abbreviated steps after 10 000 is there only for stock watch faces. You can use literally any CIQ watch face. Not ideal solution, but it works.

  • You can find the exact step count by just scrolling up or down through the widgets to the step widget. If you haven't activated the step widget then you need to add it by clicking on the little pencil at the end of the widgets.

  • I am finding this annoying also. I want to see the exact steps count on my watch face, not a vague approximation. I can see the exact number on the app in my phone…but that’s not the point. Very silly ‘update’
