For 5 months my watched picked up my Anaerobic training fine. But recently its not working and very intermittent.
My routine is pretty similar every time. I connect up to the Watt Bike – wearing my heart strap and watch.
Warm up - I do this until gets me to about 2.0 TE for Aerobic
I then do sprints and this is what I used to get
1st Sprint around 1.5 TE
2nd Sprint now at 2.2 TE
3rd Sprint now at 2.6 TE
4th Sprint now at 2.9 TE
5th sprint finishing around 3+ TE
About a month ago it started to miss out one or two sprints. This week I did the same training I always do and got just 0.6 TE Anaerobic and a load of just 24. I cycled 6 miles – was sweating and could hardly talk – usually that load would be around 125.
I have compared the power output of the sprints and the time… I have got almost 2 identical work outs just a few weeks apart. One showing it properly TE 3.1 Work Load 142 – the other TE 0.9 Work load 24.
It seems to be missing out some sprints. Today my V02 max dropped because it looked like I did hardly anything from the TE POV yet I was completely worn out!
Anyone else seen this issue as of now this is completely useless as just not at all accurate when it once was.
