I am on 14.20 as well, unable to enroll in beta as I'm using Asia version. But run dynamics data fields are available in 14.20 even though it doesn't show up in the activity on Garmin Connect
Thank you. I am currently using the HRM Pro Plus so I have the functionality (still it would be good to have it without the strap). One question. How long does it take on average for a beta version to become a stable version?
As far as i can see it was earlier less than a month - the first version 15.09 was released 28 days ago - Then version 15.11 and two weeks ago 15.12.
So m guess is that we are very close for a release.
Notice that a lot of things have happend sine the release of 14.20 so the beta period has been longer than normal.
eg
- A LOT of new functionality (just check the beta release documentations - in the beta forum). - An announced new releasecycle for FW's - A merge of development teams to speed up development and minimize errors
It used to be only a week, but that was obviously too short a time to get reports back in from users. I believe Garmin are being a little more cautious now.
15.12 has been out for nearly two weeks with mostly favourable reviews. There are still some bugs. I suspect it will probably get either a full release or another Release Candidate (fixing a small number of bugs) on Thursday.
Thank you for your replies. As I am a newcomer in the Garmin ecosystem (the 955 being my first Garmin watch), it assists me in better understanding how this cycle works.
