Nolonger appears to charge by solar. States battery hot. Nol longer connects to wifi states battery low. Time to replace watch?

Since last update the solar intensity does not show intensity,states battery to hot. When trying to sync to wifi states battery low.

This sounds like a dead battery to me. Warranty return time.

I have used the watch for several months like this. Full charges ,use it for several days with lots of gps usage. Think it's software issue.But I am usually wrong.

Did you get any resolution? I have just purchased a Garmin Instict 2s Solar and it appears to be doing this out of the box - "battery hot" constantly and no recording of solar intensity.

they replaced the watch and that´s it. no explanation, nothing

None of the updates resolved issue. Garmin NEVER followed up with with suggestions or offer replacement.
