CIQ Watch faces not displaying Battery Days remaining metric

following up on a separate thread to hopefully bring this to Garmin-Sierra's attention.

it has become apparent that in spite of it being supposedly supported since CIQ3.3, the FR955 does not show day's remaining for CIQ watch faces for battery metrics.

can engineering look into why this is not working? this doesn't work on any of the watch faces i've tried.

There are a few different things going on in this thread. After reviewing everything with a few of our engineers, it looks like everyone will need to take these requests/concerns to the 3rd party…

Can you tell me the names of the CIQ watch faces that you've seen this with? May I also reach out to you via email to gather more information, if necessary?

For example "GLANCE dual screen" or "Glance Pro" from MobileDriveway. The author is aware of that bug also, because this option for the data field in the watch face Settings says: "Battery in Days (N/A or Zero on a lot of watches".

adding to ethcz's response. Big Easy, also by MobileDriveway, is another face that doesn't display remaining days.

Per the CIQ 4.2.4 API Doc (the latest doc), this isn't supported by an forerunner device. Notice how the supported devices go from Fenix to Instinct:

You mean this? Works for me FW 15.12B Instinct Mission watchface.

At Instinct Mission watchface, it seems this is some proprietary implementation of battery estimation done by the watch face author. I have two observations to support this assumption:

1) I installed Mission watchface this morning and it took several hours until the remaining days value appeared:

2) The value differs from the official value, that can be seen on top of the glances list, if enabled in Settings -> Power Manager -> Battery Estimates set to On:

derek87 I'm not seeing 'remaining days' listed as a feature with Big Easy. Do you see it listed somewhere?

it says "battery in days" as one of the fields that can be displayed. when i try it on my 955 Solar, it shows N/A

N/A means "Not Available" which is true for a 955 per the "supported devices" screen shot I posted. What you are probably looking at is what the watch face can show, but not everything there is available on all devices
