Run measurement stops for no reason.

Is your run a scheduled activity or a simple "start and stop"?

Do you know which firmware version your watch is running?

It was a simple start and stop. It stopped at around 7km when I did my run and the watch face was back to my normal non activity page. I had to press the start run button again for the watch face to be back to the running mode. It didnt start all over again but obviously missed almost a km since I last looked at it. The post run result in the Garmin Connect shows that I almost triple my time during my 7th run.

My version should be 4.65.1.

I think that's the app version.

Have a look at the watch itself: long press UP to bring up the menu, press UP, START, UP, START. That should show the About screen, which will show the software version, which is likely to be of the form XX.YY where XX is a number between 10 and 15, eg. 14.20.

There may be a B following the number which would indicate a beta version (eg. 15.12B).

My software version is 14.20 [DFU-44be53].

Are you by any chance using a IQ field on one of your screens? And what watchface are you using?

No. Just a very simple field I am using. The Heart Rate, Distance and Pace field.

My regular watch face is Data Lover.

If it happens again then swich back to a Garmin watch-face. 

I have myself experienced reboots because of a watchface.

However the Data Lover watch face is quite "old" so it should not be the reason.

Have been using the same watch face for a year now when I have my 955. Anyway, this is quite annoying as you do not know if your tracking would stop in the middle of your activity.
