Course Selection/Organization

Courses on the 955 are only displayed in alphabetical order. With 50+ courses and no quick multi-delete to keep them organized on device, it is hard to find the most recently added course (which is usually the only one I care about). Consideration should at least be given to adding a "sort by date" as seen in the Connect app.

It would also be cool if you could look at courses in the Connect app and select "do course on ____ device" without having to send it and then find it.

  • Since this is by design, I can only advise to request this option to be added from our Ideas page: Share Ideas

If you have a course starting with a letter that's at the end of the alphabet, it will at least help to scroll backwards on your Course list (press the UP button to find it), instead of scrolling all the way down.

  • Thanks for the response. I have submitted the "idea." Are we no longer supposed to use the forums as a means for suggesting product improvements and design suggestions?

Scrolling backwards only helps so much when you have lots of routes and may not remember the exact course name, on a small display that only shows ~3 routes at a time.

  • The Garmin Forums are a great place to discuss with the community in general.  However, when it comes to submitting ideas, we do have a specific protocol that we advise.  This includes using the Share Ideas link.

  • Hey Garmin Sierra . . . your protocol is the worst.  I don't know why these forums exist except for us to figure stuff out.

Almost a year and my HRM Pro Plus is still dropping out from running power on runs.

Just fix things . . . your Edge devices list Courses by most recent.  Spend your time fixing things instead of telling people to post in other places.  I went through several layers of tech support to fix the power dropping out - AFTER you sent me a new watch, which was pointless.  Did not solve the issue.  It's in limbo.

Help us out - when there's an obvious issue like sorting courses . . . that's an easy programming fix . . .just forward it to the folks that can fix it.
