HI,
does anyone know if there is a difference in battery consumption between leaving the background white or black?
A thousand thanks

The best answer i find for you:
MIP (Memory-in-pixel) transflective LCD. What this means vis-a-vis power consumption is that only the pixels that change must be refreshed. Once a pixel is set (black, white, etc.) it requires no power to maintain that state. If that pixel's state is changed, it requires the same amount of power to change its state no matter what state it is currently in. Black background, white background - no difference in power consumption.
If you have the solar model a white background might give you a tiny bit more charging since white reflects more light and therefore can go through the solar glas a 2nd time instead of heating up the watch with a dark background. Differences might be marginal.
