Lap Swim Tracking Issues with Update 14.20 on Forerunner 955

My pool recording has been inaccurate since I got the watch a year ago. Laps missing, strokes all over the place, stops recording randomly.

Open water, my main concern, seems ok.

A lot of fixes for cosmetic bugs, and that basic triathlete function still not working. I don't get it?

Never had isues since day 1 in November 2022. I swim 100x25m pools twice a week, freestyle without stopping

I am on 15.11 and this morning the watch stopped tracking my intervals during my swim.

What the watch captured:

WU - 300 meters

MS -  500, 500, 400

When it stopped recording:

The very next 400 it only captured 25 meters.

When I ended the 400 I hit the lap button for the rest.  I then started another 400, then a rest then 6 x 50's starting at the beginning of each interval and hitting the button to "rest".  BTW - I have been a Garmin owner since the 910 and purchased every upgrade except the 945 - so I know how to use it in the swim.

When I uploaded the file it only captured 1725m. It didn't even capture the time and not the distance like the previous swim problem with the watch.  Its like the 2nd 400 and 6 x 50's never happened even though it looked like the watch captured the time for each lap.

Seems like there is a new issue.

Yes, you can review my file.  As an FYI - I manually changed the distance from 1725meters to 3000 for tracking purposes.

I'd like the same review. You can access all my data!

• Poll activities are wrong. I have 3 weeks of daily 1500m  in a 20m pool available. You can see in the data the missing laps, non sense strokes and pauses int he recording.
• Open water, I just exported a 8.9 .gpx file, to import as a 7.1km track. that is a 24% error, while the GPS track is perfect.

My patience is wearing very thin, just asked the SAV for a solution, and if not provided, a reimbursement since this expensive watch can not do what is sold for...

same here, since day one been having that problem.. today with 15.11 it stop counting laps after 3 laps.... 

Hi Sierra - is there a "official" thread tracking this latest swim issue or will updates be tracked and communicated here?

Can you help us? Its a worthless training device if its not working during swim practice
