Spectator messaging doesn't work

As a follow-up, the messages came through about three hours after they'd been sent.

I have this as well. Back from a 6 hour run, showered and changed and then get lots of messages all together. 

Same thing for me during my last ultra trail, my family sent me a lot of messages but I’ve received nothing. Live track worked well and they followed me during the whole race.

Would be nice if the messages were stored for 24 hours. I tend to miss them when they come in because they are not long enough on screen. Would one nice if you could reread them after the run.

Same here. Fenix 955 Solar. Friends sent two messages. Messages came around 3 hours after the event. The live location sharing worked fine. But messages from different people never came through when they were sent but a few hours later. When will this be fixed?

I'm using a 945 LTE with the same problem. Do you find that, after the activity ends, you sometimes get a whole bunch of prior messages at once when you start a new activity?
