warranty

This watch has never worked as it should according to the technical specifications. Those like me who have bought this watch since June have found themselves with an unreliable device and where with each new update new bugs and broken features are introduced that were fine before, such as, for example, the detection of the anaerobic threshold or the training sessions scheduled on the track. How much longer do I have to wait to get what I paid for? Garmin says we are working diligently but patience has a limit and after 9 months it seems to me that the limit has been crossed. moreover, the warranty of this watch should at least start from when all bugs are fixed and not from the date of purchase 

  • I agree with you and anyone who didn't get what the product description says or doesn't work should probably go this route. We need to push Garmin to start taking care of their products. After all, it's Garmin's business card and reputation.

  • I asked for a refund because of this 9 months of issues or the watch to be fixed. They just send the new one with the same bugs and problems. I will wait for the new firmware and contact the support again with the same request if not fixed.

  • I don't know how it works in your country, but in our country, if the same mistake is proven three times, they have to return the money.

  • And all can be fine, but warranty is not a worldwide. So if you bought it (or got it as a present) in another country You will not be able to get refund or replace... understand you, bro...

  • Garmin replaces the watch because according to them the software is Ok but the problem is just that their software is written with the feet. 

  • Guarantee or warranty claims due to a software problem are almost impossible. You can ask your dealer and he/she can refund you a small percentage of the price. But the only real solution is to sell the watch on Ebay.

  • Totally agree, this is a joke. I spent €500 5 months ago and many important functions doesn’t work. Please fix all the problems once and for all

  • Garmin has released a product this time without any quality control. It was only put on the market to make money after Covid. I am a project manager in software development and if I was in charge of this project I would have been fired for cause. I believe that within Garmin the project manager has been sent home for quite a while . Now they are trying to run for cover but they only continue to do more damage. from a "serious" company I would expect an admission of guilt and I would compensate my customers . Obviously Garmin will continue to sell new watches as if nothing happened. I have been using forerunners for 15 years and this will be the last because Garmin's indifference towards us is scandalous .
