I’m very familiar with my pace, cadence and stride length running outdoors but when I run in Treadmill mode indoors my pace is calculated by arm swing which is completely inaccurate. Is there a setting that will get pace from my run dynamics pod?

it seems that it won't...see this other post https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/accessories-sensors/314289/running-dynamics-pod-to-track-steps-while-walking-on-standing-desk-treadmill
The running dynamics pod doesn't work as a foot pod for pace. However, the HRM pro does now after a recent firmware upgrade. You can also use a foot pod like stryd for pace and distance.
