System 6: long press complications on watch face (not working)

so, supposedly with system 6 (which arrived supposedly to our watches with 14.15), there is support for CIQ watch faces to have long touches which directly transfer the user to the associated widget. we have never had this feature with our stock watch faces (unlike Fenix7/Epix2), so i was excited by the developer of Big Easy added it to his watch face. (only the paid version)...yet, i doesn't work. i'm working on troubleshooting with him, but here are some thoughts/questions:

- my About shows CIQ version 4.2.0. is that the same as System 6?

- anyone else try a watch face that supposedly supports long presses?

my concern is that there may be some hardware limitation with the 955 (see the stock faces which don't support long presses, and the lack of ability to double tap to zoom on maps)

No reason for hardware limitation. Must be only software failure.

Anyone can tell if FR 265 and 965 have this function on the new watch faces? I didn't find it in any reviews!

The CIQ 4.2.0 now on Forerunner 955 are a beta and this explain why the 955 has some bugs. in theory the function should already be present the complications (this are the name) but for now nothing. It's out CIQ 4.2.1, so wait for the next firmware update to see if this appear.

Yes it does work on the 265 I tested (see my thread in this forum). If you long - press the Vo2 icon it takes to the widget.

the developer of Big Easy worked on troubleshooting with me, and sadly, the 955 doesn't support long presses in the simulator which is surprising.

yet, it just adds to the long list of inconsistencies between different products. we are still waiting for double tap zoom to work on our 955's after 9+ months :(

i got a very general: we will look into this... i will update here if i get any further info from them. i'd suggest others to submit a help ticket to Garmin as well since i think having this reported by multiple people would maybe motivate Garmin to pursue this with more vigor.
