Music: Directly Copy & Avoid Garmin Express?

Can I directly copy music via File Explorer to the Music Folder on the Forerunner 955. Garmin Express is too flaky and frustrating.

Saat least it's possible on my Fenix 5+, so I would guess it works on FR955 as well.

That's exactly what I always do. It is much simpler and easier. I never bothered importing music or podcasts via the Garmin Express SW.
