Bug: 14.17 Crashing HRM Pro

Since the 14.17 update, the FR955 is making my Garmin HRM Pro chest strap (8.80) to turn off. It usually happens when trying to download HR for finished activity.

The HRM turns off and won't turn on again, even for bluetooth connection with the smartphone or other devices.

The only way to bring it back on is to open it, remove the battery and place the battery back again. Removing the strap from the watch menu and pairing again didn't help. Neither did resetting calibration data.

Thanks for the warning! I'm also using a HRM Pro.

The HRM battery died after these facts. It was showing battery OK before.

Bought a new battery and it's back to work. Still didn't try a "download HR".

When I download HR, it creates a second activity is is supposed to do that?

Yes, it always worked this way. I don‘t fully understand the purpose of this function, to be honest. The HR are already downloaded as part of the activity when you synchronize the watch. Why would you do a separate HR download? Maybe someone can clarify this for me.
