if I restore to factory condition what do I lose? Is it true that now the history of HRV is not lost?

I've been having a serious bug where my training status, acute load, etc. was broken.. I contacted garmin support earlier today and they were of no help at all, suggesting it was because I had high stress…
To confirm that I did a full reset now and using the method above all my data field settings and some additional activity types I had created all came across perfectly no need to recreate them, Just re order…
Thanks for the info...
I believe you can copy across the data field data setttings etc also

So I did a hard hard reset of my watch earlier today. It maintained my HRV history.
It recalculated the data from all my old workouts. All the past history of overreaching has been magically updated to maintaining.
I had to reset my glances, reconnect to garmin bluetooth, reconnect wifi, update data fields in my sports, etc.
But no data lost, and I'm 100% happy. Garmin should inform their support people how their watches work.
Thanks. At least we'll be able to do a hard reset if some critical bug pops up. This will eliminate mish-mash during the blending of software updates

Before you reset , follow the instructions on that link above , basically make a dump of the drive of the watch onto the computer. After resetting the watch , copy the parts you want to the "New File" folder on the device , as described in the link as well. If you use a Mac you need Android File Transfer to access the device folder.
