I am following a Garmin a training plan on my 955 for a 10km.
The plan seems reasonable and each training day, it tells me what I should run.
However ... the 5- or 10-min warm-up requested might be fine for a young guy/gal before running at 3:30 to 4 min/km pace ... but it isn't enough for me (almost 70!). I can still run those paces, but need 20-25 mins warm-up first.
How do I extend the warm-up period that is displayed?
Or, must I just run the extra warm-up time before I start the planned activity - which means I end up with two runs that day in Garmin and not one better-structured run?
