[14.13] No Lactate Threshold/VO2Max updates anymore?

Has anyone recently (since the 14.12beta/14.13 for example) gotten any updates regarding lactate thresholds and/or VO2Max?

My VO2Max is unchanged since the 1st of januari which, while theoretically possible, is VERY unlikely given the training...

Also, I now had a number of trainings where I'd expect a LTHR update but nothing... Again today, interval session which I was sure would give me an update but nothing.

So while 'the latest release should contain a fix for the LTRH update on the watch not syncing to connect' for me the fix seems to be 'hey, screw you user.. we're just not giving you any updates at all anymore!'.

I am REALLY getting fed up with this freaking watch and don't trust it at all anymore...

  • I have noticed that on "easier" runs my Runalyze version and Garmin version tend to get close , on sessions they seem further apart.  Almost as if the RA one is for an activity and the Garmin one is a moving average so to say.

  • RA reports two numbers: an effective one that is on the far right upper corner which seems to reflect a several week average. it also reports one that is purely on an individual run as shown in SMR's image. in my experience that number is lower than Garmin reported one for me. (RA: 45ish, Garmin: 53-54)...within an individual run, i can see the RA estimate of VO2Max per lap (mile increments for me) which creeps down as the miles accumulate.

i think the RA is purely based on HR vs pace (or GAP) so it will get lower for me on longer runs.  but the garmin accounts for distance of the run it its estimate.
