Track run

I have a Garmin 955 FR solar. This track run mode, I assume that will not work as it should be if you have set the watch to use Stryd for distance and pace, right ? Assume you need to use GPS when using that mode ?

Are you doing this on an indoor track? All of my indoor settings are failing to produce distance and pace metrics after this update. I've called Garmin twice and reported it online. If you're indoors you don't (and have never) needed GPS. Even outdoors, the accelerometer should work as a failsafe for GPS dropouts.

Doing it outdoor. I don’t use GPS for speed/distance, only Stryd both indoor and outdoor

Even so, when GPS is disabled the watch should, and Garmin watches have for years, revert back to the internal accelerometer. I've never had this problem before, and it's infuriating how poor (and uncharacteristic) Garmin customer service have been to this end. One rep told me that Garmin watches cannot pick up pace or distance indoors because there is no GPS--this is just not true. I was having no problems with my watch before the 14.13 update. What is really infuriating is that there is no way to revert to the previous firmware.
