Garmin Forerunner 955 rings when a timer ends even though it's set to vibrate only

Since a couple of software updates ago, my Garmin Forerunner 955 rings when a timer ends, even though the timer is set up to vibrate only. I've tried deleting the timer and adding it again multiple times, but it doesn't resolve the issue.
